Urgent police request for a girl last seen in the early hours at a McDonald’s in downtown Manchester

Police have launched a search for a missing teenager, last seen in downtown Manchester.

15-year-old Chloe Gruer was last seen in the early hours of Saturday morning. She has not been seen since.

Her last known location was at McDonald’s on Oxford Road at 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say they are becoming “increasingly concerned” about the teenager, who is from Selby, North Yorkshire.

A North Yorkshire spokesman said: “Chloe was last seen on Friday, May 13, 2022, when she left a property to meet a friend. Of course, Chloe then traveled to Manchester, where she was last seen at 3:30 a.m. this morning (Saturday, May 14, 2022) at a McDonald’s restaurant on Oxford Road in downtown Manchester.

“It is described that Chloe has very long dark brown hair, blue eyes and is about 5 feet 6 inches with a slender physique. She has a nose piercing and wears a gold ring on each hand and two gold necklaces.

“She was last seen wearing a green long-sleeved top, black leather pants, black insulation and white Nike Air Force sneakers. She is also believed to be wearing a black handbag with a gold chain.

“Officials are becoming increasingly concerned about Chloe’s whereabouts and are asking the public to report any sightings of her.

“Immediate sightings must be reported to North Yorkshire Police on 999. All other information can be reported on 101. Please quote reference 12220081957.”
