Dozens of schools in Ottawa will remain closed on Thursday as water crews continue to restore power after Saturday’s storm.
The Ottawa Carlton School Board and the Ottawa Catholic School Board said there would be “limited” school bus services. Check the OSTA website for details.

CHARLETON DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD BOARD
The Ottawa School Board says 30 schools without power will remain closed on Thursday.
School bus transport will be limited, according to the OCDSB. More than 120 school bus routes to open public schools in Ottawa will be canceled on Thursday. Check the OSTA website for details.

OTTAVA CATHOLIC SCHOOL SET
The Catholic School Board in Ottawa says all schools with power will open on Thursday, but 14 schools without power will remain closed. The schools are:
- Frank Ryan
- Virgin of Peace
- Sacred heart
- St. Andrew
- St. Bernard
- St. Daniel
- Saint Gemma
- St. Gregory
- St. Isidore
- St. Leonard
- St. Michael (437 Donald Street)
- Saint Monica
- St. Philip
- St. Rita
St. Monica School suffered “serious damage to the roof” during the storm and will be closed until the end of the week.
The Catholic School Board in Ottawa says all schools that are open will offer extended day programs on Thursday.
The limited school bus service will run on Thursday. Eighty-five bus routes to Ottawa’s Catholic schools were canceled on Thursday.
CONCEIL DES ECOLES CATHOLIQUES DU CENTER-EST
The French Catholic School Board in Ottawa said three schools would close on Thursday.

- Terre-des-Jeunes
CONSEIL DES ECOLES PUBLIQUES DE L’EST
The French Public School Board in Ottawa said four schools would remain closed on Thursday due to power outages.
The four schools are:
- Charlotte Lemieux
- Gabriel-Roy
- Marie Curie
- Omer-Deslorie
Closed schools will not offer virtual training on Thursday.
All other schools and day care will be banned.
