The RNC is looking for possible recordings from a control or video surveillance camera in the Thorburn Road area of St. John after a night shooting incident.
Calls began arriving around 2:45 a.m. this morning for possible shootings in the Thorburn Road area west of Exmouth Street.
A woman on Campbell Avenue heard a sound she described as “pop, pop, pop, pop.”
Patrol officers found a vehicle fire in the common area, but there is no immediate evidence of shots.
At around 6:20 a.m., they received reports of gunshot wounds to a home. RNC police officer James Cadigan says forensic scientists are on the scene conducting the investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact the RNC or Crimestoppers.
He says they believe the shooting took place before 3 am and are looking for any information the public may have to help with the investigation.
