Two men were seriously injured in a head-on collision in Toronto

Two men were seriously injured in a head-on collision in Toronto on Wednesday night.

At around 11:10 p.m., police responded to a collision on Lake Shore West, near British Columbia Road.

Police said a vehicle was traveling east on Lake Shore at high speed, lost control and collided with a vehicle traveling west.

Toronto paramedics said two patients should be removed from the vehicles.

Police said both elderly men were transported to hospital in life-threatening condition.

Lakeshore Boulevard is closed in both directions between British Columbia Road and Ontario Drive.
