Jurgen Klopp discusses “revenge” on Real Madrid
Liverpool players are upset that they are not allowed to take their families out on the field if they win the Champions League final, according to reports in Spain.
The Reds will face Real Madrid in Paris, where they will seek revenge for the events of four years ago in Kyiv. Then the Spanish side won 3-1 thanks to two errors by Loris Carius and a stunning goal by Gareth Bale. When Liverpool won the race 12 months later in Madrid, their players were able to celebrate with their partners and children on the pitch. However, UEFA seems to have ruled out such scenes at the Stade de France.

According to Marca, Liverpool players are upset and angry at the measures taken by the governing body of European football before the final in 2022. The report claims that the explanation of the decision cited “security concerns”, which caused a scandal in the preparation of the game.
Marca also cites “tensions” over the size of Liverpool’s distribution to friends and family of players, which they say is limited to allow as many fans as possible to attend the final. However, the head of the “reds” Jurgen Klopp spoke about the distribution offered to the fans of both clubs, after each country was limited to less than a quarter of the stadium’s capacity for 81,000 spectators.
“When you see the ticket prices and the number of tickets you get … is it right?” The German asked, “Is it right that we only get 20,000?” [tickets], Real gets 20,000 and has 75,000? That makes 35,000. What ?? Where are these tickets [going]? “

Fans of both clubs made their way to Paris this week. The game was originally given to St. Petersburg, but UEFA decided to move the game amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Some Reds fans even traveled to France by boat, and supporters made the trip all the way from the United States. Officials expect up to 60,000 Liverpool fans to be in Paris for the match, even if not everyone can get tickets for the match.
In the hours before the start, groups of supporters were filmed singing in the French capital.

Liverpool have entered the final after winning two trophies this season, defeating Chelsea in both finals for the local cup. They have won 10 of their 12 races so far, including all six group matches and the first matches of each of their knockout matches.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid had a faster path to the final. They were forced to close the deficit in the first match against Paris Saint-Germain in the 1/8, before demanding extra time against Chelsea in the quarterfinals and Manchester City in the semifinals.
In addition to winning the final in 2018, Real Madrid beat Liverpool in two quarter-final matches in 2021. Two goals by Vinicius Jr. and one by Marco Asensio gave them a 3-1 lead in the first match, with Mohamed Salah scoring for the Premier League team until Anfield’s rematch ended without goals.
