Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) II: The Sith Lords heads to the Nintendo Switch on June 8, as announced at this year’s Star Wars Celebration event. The sequel to the classic KOTOR RPG should include some performance improvements and resolution upgrades, as well as a DLC for recovered content that will arrive after launch.

As you may have guessed, DLC Restored Content comes with content that Obsidian Entertainment and Aspyr Media, the game’s developers, missed during their rush to launch the game in 2004. There’s already a fan-created mod for KOTOR II on Steam. which recovers some of this lost content, but it is not clear how similar the official DLC will be when it comes out.
You can pre-order KOTOR II at the Nintendo Store for $ 15.00 right now, or you can buy it as part of a $ 29.99 package that includes the original KOTOR, which arrived on the Switch last year. And while Aspyr is currently working on a remake of KOTOR, which is exclusive to the PlayStation 5, there is still no information on the release date.
