MILFORD, Massachusetts – Police in several communities have warned women to look for a man who vandalized vehicles and then offered to help women who were left unaware that the man offering the aid had actually caused the damage.
Incidents have been reported in Franklin, Holiston, Milford, Medway and Bellingham.
Milford Deputy Chief of Police John Sanchioni told Boston 25 on Saturday night that they had issued a warrant for the arrest of Alexander Yee of Winchendon for an incident in their city. Sanchioni says Yi deliberately vandalized a woman’s car at Target in Milford last Saturday when he allegedly leaked juice into her gas tank. Sanchioni says Yi refused to surrender. Milford police say Yi is about 30 years old and drives a blue Chevy Impala with MA plates.
Per Milford Police: Mr Yee admitted to pouring juice into the woman’s car and told police he liked to do so. Charges: Deliberate and malicious destruction of property over $ 1,200.00. Milford police say their officer called Yi, who refused to come to the police station. @ boston25

“He targeted young women by flattening their tires, filling their gas tanks with water and then offering to take them home. If your car has a flat tire, DO NOT try to start it. ” according to Milford’s Facebook post.
Other communities have also raised concerns, including Holliston.
“In the last week, there have been local reports of a person wanting to ban cars driven by young women. In these situations, the individual may release air from the tire or add a contaminant to the gas tank and then approach the female to offer assistance in the form of a battery, air compressor or travel, according to a Holiston police report.
“As in all situations, keep in mind that the people offering help may have actually been involved in organizing the situation. If your car becomes inoperable, wait in a safe place for a friend, family member or AAA to respond, “said Holston police.
Franklin police said the man wanted for the incidents was spotted in their town on Friday.
“If your vehicle is tampered with or damaged shortly after starting, give us a call,” Franklin police said in a Facebook post.
Bellingham officials also issued a warning to the man.
“It is suspected that he forged a vehicle in the center of the Charles River and then turned to the owner when she found that her vehicle was out of order,” Bellingham police said in a Facebook post. “Please be vigilant and let us know immediately if you notice any suspicious activity. As a precaution, please try to park in well-lit areas and avoid walking to your car alone whenever possible. ”
Medway police are also involved in the investigation.
Anyone with concerns is called to call the local police department if they think their car has been tampered with.
