Halton Regional Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver was attacked and his car stolen during an armed car theft in Milton.
On Tuesday, officers responded to reports of car theft at a residence near James Snow Parkway and Derry Road, around 11 p.m.
Police said three unknown men approached the victim as he stopped in an alley and got out of his car.
One suspect reportedly discovered a knife and another suspect pulled out a gun.

The officer was then punched in the back of the head and the suspects asked for his car keys and mobile phone, according to police.
The three suspects then fled in the victim’s car, a 2004 white Acura TSX with registration number CTCF771.
Investigators said they found a stolen brown Nissan Rogue 2011 nearby, in which the suspects arrived before stealing the victim’s car.
The suspects are described only as black, in their early 20s, with a thin figure and wearing hoods and face masks.

Police have been involved in a series of violent car thefts in the Toronto area in recent weeks.
Yesterday afternoon, York’s regional police reacted to an armed theft of a car in a residential area in Vaughan, which was caught on camera.
Investigators said the suspects approached a man in front of his home, pulled out guns, demanded the keys to the victim’s car and stole his Audi SUV from his driveway.
