Vendramin graduated with honors from Sault College’s Protection, Security and Investigation Program in 2020. He is a city police officer who was injured in the line of duty.
SAULT COLLEGE NEWS PRESS RELEASE ***************************** Today, at the last spring convocation ceremony of Sault College, Sault College proudly presented a certificate of honor in Sports administration of Salt College Alumni and local front line employee Ryan Vendramin. Surrounded by the Sault College community, some of our newest alumni and supporters, Ryan took the stage once again to accept the honor.
Ryan graduated with honors from the Sault College Police Foundation Program in the spring of 2019 and graduated with honors from the Sault College’s Protection, Security and Investigation Program in the spring of 2020. During his time at the college, he was captain of the men’s hockey team. team of Sault College, national champion and two-time player of the year of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
“We are very proud to acknowledge Ryan’s outstanding contributions not only to Sault College, but to our community as a whole,” said Dr. Ron Common, president of Sault College. “Ryan was a leader as a student, a student-athlete and now in his chosen profession. We are honored to have him as part of the Sault College family and wish him all the best in the future, ”added Dr. Common.
“Visiting Sault College was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I learned from so many great teachers and met many great people with whom I will be friends for life. I felt extremely well prepared to join the workforce as a police officer after graduating from police foundations and protection, security and investigation programs. “I am honored to be recognized today by Sault College,” said Ryan Vendramin.
