A four-year-old boy died in a car accident in Skelton.
Police confirmed the tragedy, saying specially trained staff supported the boy’s family. The incident happened in the town of Grampian Road shortly after 2 pm today.
Officials also thanked the public for trying to help at the scene.

A police statement said: “Police can confirm that a four-year-old boy unfortunately lost his life in a fatal road crash in Skelton this afternoon.
“Our thoughts are with the boy’s family. Specially trained officers support the boy’s relatives.”
