Jairzinho Rosenstruyk definitely disagreed with referee Herb Dean’s decision to stop his fight against Alexander Volkov at UFC Vegas 56.
Dean gave up the fight after Volkov smashed Rosenstruyk with a shaking right hand, followed by a series of blows at the start of the first round of Saturday’s main event, leaving Bigi Boy to sway and fall to one knee while eating against the cage. . While Rosenstruyk was essentially moving away from stopping, he was still taking many consistent shots after Volkov’s initial blow, which hurt him.
In any case, Rosenstruik had problems with Dean’s decision, as he explained in his first statement since the event.
“I am quite confused about how the battle went and I am disappointed that it was stopped,” Rosenstruyk said on Twitter. “It was definitely a worrying situation, but I was far from giving up the fight. Did anyone lie on the ground with their eyes closed? We call this a knockout. ”
(1/2) Hello everyone. I am somewhat confused about how the battle went and I am disappointed that it was stopped. It was definitely an alarming situation, but I did not give up the fight. Did anyone lie on the ground with their eyes closed? We call this a knockout. # UFCVegas56

(2/2) Alexander and I just started exchanging some heavy blows. The things you all wanted to see! Great for @AlexDragoVolkov for accepting the battle. I have no noticeable damage and I like to fight soon. # UFCVegas56

Dina’s exchange led to the final, after Rosenstruyk unleashed a series of loops on the left and right hooks, without any of the blows passing through Volkov’s defense.
In return, the Russian threw right in the middle – and this is the shot that injured Rosenstruik before the final sequence.
The 34-year-old fighter from Suriname felt like the action was just beginning when Dean ended the race, but he doesn’t feel bad about Volkov because he’s just doing his job in the cage.
“Alexander and I have just started exchanging some heavy blows,” Rosenstruick said. “The things you all wanted to see! Great for Alexander Volkov to take the battle. I have no significant damage and I like to fight soon. “
With the suspension, Rosenstruy suffered his third loss in his last four fights after also falling to former interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane and Curtis Blaydes in recent decisions.
Undefeated in the first 10 battles of his career, Rosenstruik already has a total of 12-4, as he strives to return to the track when he returns to action in his next match.
