The cyberpunk 2077 anime trailer for Netflix looks amazing

Netflix has just released the first trailer for its anime series based on Cyberpunk 2077. Whatever complaints you may have about the game, you may want to leave them at the door.

This is Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a standalone 10-part anime series in which CDPR developers are serious, but where the animation itself is handled by Studio Trigger, whom you may know from things like Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia.

This looks cooler than anything I’ve done in the video game:

Here is the official description and list of participants, courtesy of Netflix:

The CD PROJEKT RED team is working on this new series from 2018. The famous Japanese animation company Studio Trigger will serve as the animation studio of the series and will breathe life into the world of Cyberpunk with its distinctive, lifestyle.
