A huge fire broke out in an industrial area in South Wales. Police have warned people to avoid the Blaenavon area, between Pontypool and Abergavenny, as emergency services are dealing with the blaze.
Shortly before midnight this morning, Gwent police said officers were dealing with a large fire at the Gilchrist Thomas industrial property and were urging everyone to stay out of the area. The industrial property has a wide range of commercial properties and industrial sites.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the fire engulfed the caravan repair center at the mansion. The reason is currently unknown.
Guent police said in a tweet: “Officers are dealing with a large fire at Gilchrist Thomas Industrial Estate, Blaenavon. Please avoid the area. “
