Wellington Crescent opened its doors after a commercial truck got stuck under a bridge and stopped for hours on Wednesday.
Police in Winnipeg said shortly after 5:30 p.m. the road was reopened. It was closed earlier this afternoon near the Wellington Park Bridge Bridge after the truck got stuck under the bridge.
The truck was seen jammed under the bridge, which tore off part of the roof of the truck’s trailer.
Police said the truck was removed successfully and the bridge was assessed as safe.
