A 23-year-old man died after a car crashed into a tree near Driffield

A 23-year-old man died after his car crashed into a tree near Drifffield in East Yorkshire.

Humberside police are investigating the crash, which occurred shortly before 8 a.m. Friday morning. The car left Driffield Road, between Kilham and Rudston Parva, and hit a tree.

Public figures rushed to try to help the man, but he died tragically from his injuries on the spot. It is the second fatal crash in the region this weekend after an 18-year-old man died in a crash a few miles north of Driffield. Another man is fighting for his life in hospital.

Police are calling on all witnesses or cameramen to appear. The victim’s family has been notified.

A police spokesman said: “Investigations are under way after a man unfortunately died in a collision in East Yorkshire on Friday. The collision happened around 7.55am on Driffield Road between Kilham and Rudston Parva when a black Seat Leon left the road and collided with wood.

“Unfortunately, a 23-year-old man who was driving the car at the time of the collision was found dead at the scene. His family has been informed and supported by specially trained staff, we think with them about it. Difficult moment.

“Officials would like to thank members of the public who came to the aid of the driver involved in the collision. We now appeal to anyone who has seen the collision, or to anyone who has a record from the dashboard or seen the vehicle before the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call our emergency line 101, citing Diary 91 of 10 June. “
