Prince Andrew “begs to be given back the role of Grenadier Guard” News

The Duke of York has asked the Queen to reinstate him as a colonel in the Grenadier Guard as part of a plan to return to public life, it said yesterday.

It is also believed that Prince Andrew asked his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to become working royalty.

Today, as a member of the Order of Garters, the Duke is expected to attend the Garters Day service at Windsor Castle. A source said IN Sunday Telegraph: “The Colonel of the Grenadier Guard was his most coveted title and he wants it back. After remaining a state councilor, he also believes that he should be involved in royal and state events.
