18-year-old Kayden Ledbiter was a passenger in a minibus traveling in the wrong direction up the M606 and crashed into a taxi, killing the driver and his client.
The 15-year-old driver of the Ford Transit van, suspected of theft, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A tribute to Kayden on Facebook said: “I will thank you forever for taking care of my family as if it were your own big boy, I can’t believe it.
“I can’t believe you’re gone, the most polite and polite boy, he was like my little brother, I don’t know what else to say, thinking about your family at this sad time.”
Another said, “So many memories that I will keep forever.”
Other victims are also honored; 28-year-old taxi driver Sohail Ali and his 49-year-old passenger Simon McHugh.
In a statement released this afternoon, West Yorkshire Police said: “Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a serious clash in Bradford.
“Employees were called for a serious collision with a minibus and taxis at 22.45 last night (June 13) on the M606.
“Two men aged 28 and 49 in a taxi were pronounced dead at the scene.
“An 18-year-old passenger in the van died at the hospital this morning.
“Another passenger in the van, a 17-year-old boy, is in hospital with serious but life-threatening injuries.
“The 15-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing dangerous deaths while driving dangerously, but remained in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
