A car overturned on one side of a busy roundabout in South Manchester on Wednesday afternoon. The incident provoked a huge reaction from the emergency services on Birchfields Road (A34), in Fallowfield, shortly before 1:30 p.m.
Police were present and removed the traffic jams in the building, as paramedics remained at the scene. Popular bus routes from the city center also had to deviate temporarily, which led to delays of almost half an hour.
Paramedics caring for people were spotted at the scene. The northwestern ambulance later confirmed that a woman had been taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesman for the Northwest Ambulance said: “We received a call to 999 at 1:19 p.m. We took a woman to the hospital with minor injuries. “

Announcing the news, Stagecoach tweeted that their 50 service, which connects Media City with East Didsbury, has been forced to deviate temporarily
They wrote: “We are sorry to inform you that some trips are currently delayed by up to 25 minutes due to a deviation with the RTC of Birchfields Rd, please take the extra time to travel with us this afternoon.
“Moseley Road Services will run through Old Hall Lane, Wilmslow Road and Moseley Road in both directions until the incident is resolved.”
