2022 US Open TV schedule, coverage, live broadcast, watch online, channel, golf times in Brooklyn

The third big golf season 2022 arrived with controversies swirling behind the scenes. However, USGA ensures that as little wind as possible will be removed from the sails of its premier event as US Open 2022 contenders battle The Country Club. This will be the first time since 1988 that the national champion will be crowned in Brooklyn, Massachusetts, and some of the best contenders have entered with momentum, playing their best golf of the season recently.

This year the affair is set with a busy field, including most of the best golfers in the world. Masters champion Scotty Scheffler and PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas are looking to double. Scheffler aspired to become the sixth golfer to win the Masters and the U.S. Open that season, while Thomas aspired to become the seventh in history to win PGA and US Open titles in a row.

However, none of them is a favorite in Brooklyn. This honor belongs to Rory McIlroy, who has more momentum than anyone else in this field after defending his title at the RBC Canadian Open. McIlroy has three other places in the top 10 in his four previous starts and is one of only four golfers to finish in the top 10 in three (or more) of the last five US Opens.

The man who makes the most headlines this week, however, is Phil Mickelson, who missed the first two majors of the year amid mixed reviews. Mickelson returned to action last week and joined The Country Club, still looking for the US Open, to finish the Grand Slam tournament of his career. Unlike 2021, when he entered the US Open fresh after a major championship victory, Lefty has played just three rounds of competitive golf in the last four and a half months this year. There should be no doubt that his six second-place finishes in the US Open continue to haunt him, and his 10 top 10 events since 1995 show that he is in the midst of it more often than not. no.

While attending the US Open can be a lot of fun, just being able to watch golf on the game’s biggest stages is an incredible pleasure every year. We at CBSSports.com are excited to introduce you to the wall-to-wall coverage of the US Open throughout the week.

Stop talking about it. Here’s how you can watch as much of the US Open as possible during the week. Be sure to stick to CBS Sports for the live coverage of the third Mastery of the Year and see the coverage of the US Open live chart in Round 1.
