Justin Bieber has been forced to postpone his remaining concerts in the United States from his world tour of Justice, as he continues to recover from a rare syndrome that has paralyzed his face.

“In light of Justin’s ongoing recovery, the remaining concerts of the US Justice tour, scheduled for June and early July, will be postponed,” a statement said.

“Justin continues to receive the best possible medical care, is optimistic about his recovery and looks forward to returning to the road and playing for his fans abroad later this summer.

“Details of the rescheduled dates in the United States will be announced soon. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase. Tickets will be considered for all rescheduled dates. ‘

Justin Bieber has been forced to postpone more concerts on his Justice World Tour as he continues to recover from a rare syndrome that has paralyzed his face.

Justin’s website indicates that he will resume his world tour on July 31, 2022 in Italy, with his last stop in Krakow, Poland on March 25, 2023.

This is the second time Justin has been forced to postpone the dates of the Justice Tour due to his struggle with Ramsey Hunt Syndrome, a disease that has caused him temporary paralysis.

Last week, Justin announced the postponement of several meetings due to a “non-Covid-related illness” before revealing his facial paralysis.

According to the Mayo Clinic, hearing loss and facial paralysis associated with Ramsey Hunt syndrome are temporary but can become permanent.

Justin’s right eye couldn’t blink and the right side of his face didn’t move when he started the video, saying, “Hello, everyone, Justin, I wanted to let you know what’s going on.

“Obviously, as you can probably see on my face.” I have this syndrome, called Ramsey Hunt syndrome, and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused paralysis in my face.

Justin revealed last week that he was battling temporary facial paralysis caused by my Ramsey Hunt syndrome

Justin later updated a sad update in his Instagram Story, writing: “I’m gradually getting harder to eat, which was extremely frustrating, please pray for me [tearing up emoji]’.

In a video released Friday, Justin showed the devastating consequences of his diagnosis by showing his eye does not blink, he cannot smile and his nostrils will not move completely on the right side of his face.

He explained: “So there is complete paralysis on this side of my face. So for those who are disappointed with my cancellation of the next shows, I’m just physically obviously not able to do them. This is quite serious, as you can see.

“I wish it weren’t so, but obviously my body is telling me I need to slow down and I hope you understand. I will use this time to rest and relax and come back 100 percent so that I can do what I was born to do.

According to FacialPalsy.org.uk, if antiviral treatment is given within 72 hours of the onset of symptoms, approximately 70 percent of people will experience near-complete recovery, and if the nerve damage is mild, recovery should occur within a few weeks.

Justin concluded by saying he was doing his best, including taking a break to solve the problem, but was honest because he said he didn’t know how long it would take him to recover.

“He’s Getting Better”: Speaking on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Justin’s wife Hailey Bieber revealed that her husband is recovering

He said, “I love you boys. Thank you for being patient with me and I will be fine. I do all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal and it will get back to normal.

“It’s just time, we don’t know how long it will be, but it will be fine. I hope and believe in God and I believe that all this is for a reason. I’m not sure what that is right now, but in the meantime I’m going to rest and love you guys. Calm down. ‘

Speaking on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Justin’s wife Hailey Bieber revealed that her husband is recovering.

“He’s doing very well, he’s getting better every day,” said the model, who has also struggled with her health in recent days.

“He is feeling much better. And obviously it was just a very scary and accidental situation, but he will be fine. And I’m just thankful it’s okay.

WHAT IS RAMZY HUNT SYNDROME? The rare complication of shingles that leads to facial paralysis

Ramsey Hunt syndrome is a complication of shingles caused by the same virus as chickenpox (VZV), which can lead to facial paralysis.

The virus reactivates after lying dormant for years and causing inflammation and irritation of the facial nerves.

VZV is harmless unless it is reactivated and new symptoms appear.

The virus can be reactivated when the immune system is weakened and less able to fight the infection. Stress is often a trigger.

Ramsey Hunt Syndrome is a complication of shingles that can lead to facial paralysis.

Figures show that five out of every 100,000 adults in the United States will develop RHS. This poses a similar threat in the UK, according to the NHS.

Children are rarely affected by RHS, as the complication most often affects adults in their 60s.

Treatment usually includes antiviral drugs. Doctors recommend that you seek help within three days of the onset of symptoms.

What are the symptoms?

  • Facial muscles sag
  • Difficulty closing the eye
  • Changed taste
  • Loss of facial expression
  • Difficulty eating, drinking and speaking
