The Amadea superyacht, linked to Russian oligarch Suayman Kerimov, arrived in Hawaii on Thursday under an American flag.

The $ 325 million ship sailed to the port of Honolulu after the United States won a court battle in Fiji, allowing it to take control of the luxury boat.

The yacht is long around a football field and features a live lobster aquarium, a hand-painted piano, a swimming pool and a large helicopter pad.

The FBI said it had managed to link Amadea to Kerimov after a search warrant in Fiji found emails indicating that his children had been on board this year. The FBI says Kerimov bought the Cayman Islands-flagged vessel last year through various front companies.

A lawyer representing the company, who is listed as the owner of Amadea on paper, claims the boat is owned by a different wealthy Russian who, unlike Kerimov, is not facing sanctions, according to the Associated Press.

The US government has also received orders to confiscate Boeing and Gulfstream aircraft owned by another Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.

Abramovich received the jets, a Boeing 786-8 Dreamliner jet and Gulfstream G650ER, flaunting US sanctions. The two US-made planes flew to Russia without an export license.

Abramovich is connected to the planes through a complex series of front companies in the United States and around the world.

Boeing, which remains in Dubai, is valued at about $ 350 million after customization, while Gulfstream, which is in Moscow, costs approximately $ 60 million.
