An “angry” Prince Andrew is said to have refused to communicate with Prince Charles and Prince William after they blocked his royal return.
“Battle lines were drawn” when future kings “stopped” the Duke of York from attending public ceremonies at the Garter Knights ceremony last week.
He had planned to go to Royal Ascot this week, but is thought to have resigned after the Queen agreed it was the best amid fears of public reaction.
The royal family’s summer escape to Balmoral is said to be in jeopardy as a result of friction between Andrew and his brother and nephew.
There are fears that he will not join the event or if he does, it will be uncomfortable.
Andrew reportedly believed he could resurrect his royal career, but was apparently called “misled” by palace sources.
“Andrew is desperate to rebuild his life and wants his titles back,” a source told The Sun.
“But he’s angry with Charles and William for stopping his plans.” He doesn’t want to talk to them.

“Battle lines were drawn, and that put a cloud over Balmoral in the summer.”
This comes after the duke paid 12 million pounds, according to rumors, to a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her after she was trafficked by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein
Virginia Juffre claims that the duke sexually raped her when she was 17, but Andrew has repeatedly denied all allegations.
Another “insider” said this week that the duke’s decision to stay away from Ascot had given his loved ones hope that he had finally accepted the situation.
It is alleged that the disgraced 62-year-old chose “no noise” not to attend the competitions.
His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, recently jumped in his defense, calling him a “good and kind man.”

Asked if she would remarry him if she could go back and do things differently, Ms. Ferguson said, “Oh, yes. It was an exceptional day, July 23, 1986.
“I think my life is an amazing life. I think I was very lucky. And now I’m just starting my life again. And I think it’s pretty cool to be able to say that.
