The House of Representatives’ election commission, which is investigating Jan. 6, has called on a documentary filmmaker who had “wide access” to the White House and former President Donald Trump’s campaign.

Last week, the commission summoned director Alex Holder, Politico reported on Tuesday. Holder reportedly filmed interviews with Trump and his inner circle before and after the storming of the US Capitol.

The commission will look for footage from those interviews, as well as raw footage from the Jan. 6 attack itself and footage from Trump’s campaign and administration officials discussing election fraud, according to Politico.

The news of the summons comes days after the commission tried to talk to Ginny Thomas, a conservative activist and the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Thomas says he looks forward to the opportunity to “clear up the misconceptions” the commission has on January 6th.
