Progress on a four-alarm fire near Timm Road and Buena Vista Lane in rural Wacaville, which burned approximately 39 acres and triggered evacuation orders Thursday afternoon, was halted by fire crews an hour later.
At the time of the press, the fire was under 65% control.
The fire in Tim, which reportedly started around Buena Vista around 2:05 p.m., burned three outbuildings, including a barn, but no homes. Cal Fire’s Napa Lake Department says firefighters will remain in the area to further contain and extinguish hotspots.

Rescue orders were issued for residents living north of Cantelow Road, south of Peaceful Glen Road, east of English Hills Road and west of Timm Road. From 4 p.m., orders were reduced to warnings except for Buena Vista Lane, which remained under evacuation order, until it was also reduced to a warning around 6 p.m.

The Timm fire was one of several fires burning in the region on Thursday, including the Valero fire in Benicia, the Canyon Fire in Pleasanton, the Scenic Fire in Port Costa and the Vaca Valley Fire Off Interstate 505. It also comes a day after the Wintu fire that burned approximately 110 acres outside Winters and Vacaville. He has been 90% detained since Thursday.
