The Chatham-Kent Police Department is working with the Ontario Fire Department to determine the cause of the house fire after a body was found in the home.
Police say that around 3:50 a.m. Saturday, police and the Chatham-Kent fire department visited Edgar Street in Chatham for the fire.
A dead man was found in the fire at the home, police said.
Major crimes and fire marshals work together to determine the cause.
