Gravesend updates on fire as nine engines call to shoot through multiple houses – summary

A huge fire broke out in Gravesend on Sunday afternoon (June 26). Nine fire trucks arrived at the scene of the serious accident in the Jubilee Crescent.

The fire reportedly affected many properties along the way. The crews were called for the first time around 1:10 p.m. and left the scene around 8:30 p.m.

The first photos show crowds of people watching the fire pierce several houses. There are no data on fire victims.

Respiratory crews used main jets and hose reel nozzles to extinguish the flames and stop the fire from spreading further. As a result of the accident, one property was destroyed and two others were damaged.

A spokesman said: “The Kent Fire and Rescue Service is currently at the scene of a fire in Jubilee Crescent, Gravesend, which affects a number of properties. There are currently nine fire trucks, a highly mobile vehicle and a technical rescue team.”
