Mary Mara, an actress who has appeared on television shows such as Law and Order, Ray Donovan and NYPD Blue, died on Sunday, her manager confirmed to Page Six. She was 61.
New York State Police officers responded to a call about a possible drowning shortly after 8 a.m. local time Sunday in the city of Cape Vincent, where she lives, according to a police report received by The Post.

Upon arrival at the scene, police found her body – which they said showed no signs of unfair play – in the water.
“Mary’s body was found this morning in her favorite St. Lawrence River,” her spokesman told Fox News Digital. “She drowned while swimming.”
However, an autopsy will still be performed at the Jefferson County Courthouse to determine the official cause of death.

Mara was reportedly staying at her sister’s summer home in front of the St. Lawrence River when she decided to go swimming.
She leaves behind an ex-husband and stepdaughter, her manager told us.
