The premiere of Nintendo Direct Mini, focused on third-party developers, was today and there was news for almost everyone.
Fans who have been waiting a long time for Persona 5 to come to Switch have finally made their wish come true, and then some, while developers like Square Enix, Capcom, Ubisoft and even Valve have shown some new games coming to the Nintendo console.
Here’s everything announced during the Nintendo Direct Mini:
Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable on Switch
Persona’s latest games, including Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable, are finally coming to the Nintendo Switch. Following the news that the popular JRPGs are coming to Xbox and PC, Atlus announced that Persona 5 Royal will come to Switch on October 21, and Persona 4 Golden and P3P soon. All three games will be in Full HD and will include both English and Japanese voice play. But keep in mind that all three games will be sold separately.
The Mega Man Battle Network heritage collection has been announced
The popular Mega Man Battle Network series comes in the Nintendo Switch in a new package that combines all ten games. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will also include a new art gallery and music library mode. The collection will come on the Nintendo Switch in 2023 and will be sold in two parts if purchased digitally.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope gets a release date
The sequel to Mario + Rabbids got a new look today in a trailer with an overview of the game, which included the presentation of Bowser as a game character. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will be released on the Nintendo Switch on October 20, and tomorrow there will be a deep dive stream with more information.
Portal: The Companion collection is coming to Switch today
The critically acclaimed Portal series came to the Nintendo Switch later today. Use the reliable Portal Gun to solve ingenious environmental puzzles, trying to escape the twisted Aperture Labs and its AI ruler GLaDOS. Portal 2 will still include local, split screen and online multiplayer.
Nier: Automata The end of YoRHa comes on Switch
Nier: Automata is also making its way to the Nintendo Switch. This epic action-RPG has been hailed as one of the best RPGs of the last decade, against the backdrop of an eternal war between androids and machines. The Nintendo Switch version will include all previously released DLCs, as well as exclusive Switch suits when it comes out on October 6th.
Harvestella – Announcement of a new game
Square Enix has announced a new game that combines the fantastic RPG worlds of the developer with the lifestyle game of Stardew Valley. Play as a peasant and collect materials, grow a farm and do not allow Quietus – the season of death – to destroy your idyllic life. Harvestella will be released on November 4.
Return to Monkey Island, coming to the consoles first on the Switch
The new sequel to the Monkey Island series comes first on the Nintendo Switch consoles in 2022. As announced in the Nintendo Direct Mini, Ron Gilbert’s latest puzzle game will see the return of fans’ favorite characters and develop the classic point- and click the game.
Super Bomberman R 2 – A new game has been announced
A new Bomberman game has been announced for the Nintendo Switch. The new castle mode allows teams of up to 15 players to make their way to the treasure chest, while one player acts as a defense to try to stop them. You can also create and share custom battles. The Super Bomberman R 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2023.
LIVE LIVE – Demonstration announced
The iconic classic RPG comes in a Nintendo Switch with a new HD-2D look. While the full game will be released on July 22, a demo that includes three chapters will be released later today at the Nintendo eShop. These chapters include Imperial China, Twilight of Edo Japan, and the Far Future.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – revealed road map
Capcom has presented in detail its roadmap for the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak extension. Along with the huge new expansion, Capcom has revealed that a free title update, including Seething Bazelgeuse, will be released in August 2022, with more free title updates coming in the fall, winter and 2023.
Sonic Frontiers – Game Trailer
Free roaming Sonic Frontiers also comes in the Nintendo Switch and we got a new look at its battle in today’s Nintendo Direct Mini.
Minecraft Legends – new trailer
The Minecraft Legends action strategy comes on the Nintendo Switch in 2023. Control a hero and unite with allies as you orbit Minecraft, which is under invasion by monsters.

Play as a reindeer and a wolf who have to work together to find their way home in the snow. Described as an emotional adventure, Blanc is completely textless, so anyone can experience this story. Play with a friend at a local or online cooperative when Blanc came out in February 2023.
Disney Dreamlight Valley
A life simulation game that takes place in a world full of popular Disney and Pixar characters. Explore the world and build a life while farming, cooking and interacting with famous characters. Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released on September 6 in early access.
Dragon Quest Treasures
The latest Dragon Quest spinoff will be released on the Nintendo Switch on December 9th. He plays as Eric and Mia, who can team up with monsters and use their treasure tracking tool to find buried prey.
Little Noah: a descendant of paradise
A new action game called Little Noah: Scion of Paradise will be released later today on the Nintendo Switch. Play as Noah, who with his cat Cyprus must explore ancient ruins, recruit allies and fight enemies and bosses. But if you are defeated, you will have to start over.
RPG Time: The Legend of Wright
Kenta is an ambitious game creator working on his first hand-drawn role-playing game, The Legend of Wright. Play through Kenta’s notebook with over 200 pages of puzzles to solve, draw and delete. RPG Time will be released on the Nintendo Switch on August 18.
Laurel and laser eyes
A surreal mystery puzzle game that challenges the golden age of detective mystery novels. The puzzle adventure game first came to the consoles of the Nintendo Switch in 2023.
Doraemon History of the Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom
The famous Japanese mascot Doraemon participates in a new game in which players can harvest, care for animals and use the secret gadgets of Doraemon. Hang out with your friends and build a ranch in Doraemon life-sim, which is coming to Switch in 2022.
Pac-Man World Re-PAC
A remake of Pac-Man World is coming to the Nintendo Switch on August 26th. This 3D game Pac-man includes the iconic hero who must save his family after being taken to Ghost Island.
RAILWAY
A rail management game in which players will build rail systems that can best transport freight and keep the economy enthusiastic. Railgrade will be released on the Nintendo Switch this fall.
Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump + Dimensions
Play as a young boy who recently moved to Japan without friends. Damien chooses to live in his imagination as the superhero Captain Velvet Meteor, who teams up with his favorite manga characters to help him escape a mysterious world. Captain Velvet will be released on the Nintendo Switch on July 28.
