A California woman who received a sofa from a stranger online for free made the discovery for a lifetime when she later found $ 36,000 in cash tucked inside.
Vicky Umodou, a resident of San Bernardino County, said she was searching Craigslist to buy furniture for her new home when she found some items that someone was handing out for free, KGO-TV reported.
I said, “Maybe this is a trick.” I said, “Let me call them,” Umodu said at the exit.
The woman later learned that the family was distributing the furniture due to the recent death of a loved one, according to the report.
