A man has been arrested after an incident with armed police in Perth.
Kempsey Road in the city was first recorded in the early hours of Saturday morning in the presence of a number of emergency services.
Police were alerted at 5:45 a.m. this morning after reports of “concern for a person” at a property on the road.
The incident lasted more than six hours and ended at 11.50 am.
A 41-year-old man was detained in connection with the incident.

Police in Scotland told the Record earlier that the armed police were helping local officials as a “precautionary measure” and there was no risk to the general public.
They have now confirmed that no firearms have been fired.
A police spokesman said: “At around 5.45 this morning, Saturday, 30 April 2022, police were on alert to call an address in Kempsey Road, Perth.
“As a precautionary measure, local officials were assisted by armed officers in the incident, which ended at 11.50 am. No firearms were fired.
“A 41-year-old man has been detained in connection with the incident and the investigation is ongoing.”
