A man hit by a car landed on the roof, falling from the northern part of Alta. RCMP squad after a long drive

An owner of a home near Whitecourt, Altai, was hit by an unknown car on his property, hit the roof of the vehicle and eventually took off from the RCMP squad in the city.

The man noticed the car in his property around 9 pm on Monday and went to talk to the driver, police said.

After a short conversation, the driver accelerated, hit the owner of the apartment, and the man landed on the roof of the car, added by RCMP.

The driver drove from the Range Road 123C and Highway 32 in Whitecourt, then from Highway 43 to 42 Avenue.

He then drove an RCMP squad and the victim was thrown off the roof, Mounties said.

The victim was taken to hospital, treated and released.

Driving from Range Road 123C and Highway 32 to 42 Avenue is approximately six kilometers.

RCMP officers are looking for a blue Honda Civic from 2001 to 2005, which they believe has damaged the bumper, window and hub cover on the driver’s side.

Mounties are also looking for witnesses or video footage. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the RCMP on 780-779-5900 or Crime Stoppers on 1-800-222-8477.

Whitecourt is located about 175 kilometers northwest of Edmonton.
