“We heard a loud bang and it shook the house, so I got up and checked to see if my family was okay, because it sounded like it was coming from the house,” she said.

“Fortunately, everyone was fine, but my mother then noticed smoke coming from the houses in the back, so we knew it must have been an explosion then. The smoke was quite thick and there were some additional mini-explosions that sounded like broken glass coming from the fire.

“We could not see from our house what exploded or caught fire, but we knew that this was one of the houses that was affected. Then two air ambulances and more emergency services arrived. “

Another resident said they heard an explosion, looked outside and saw a car “burning”.

“We heard an explosion, we looked outside and a car was on fire. After a short time, the fire managed to cover the side of the house, so the side of the house was also on fire. “

The cause of the fire is unknown, but the investigation is ongoing.
