A man in his 50s has been found dead in a Tesco car park in Bournemouth

Dorset Police were called to the car park at around 11am on Monday, December 19, at the Tesco store on Wimborne Road in Kinson.

Officers attended along with the ambulance where they found a man in his 50s unresponsive in a car.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and his family has been informed.

A Dorset Police spokesman said: “We received a call at 10.54am on Monday 19 December 2022 that a man had been found unresponsive in a vehicle on Wimborne Road in Bournemouth.

“Ambulance crews attended and sadly the man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Officers also attended and confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.

“The man’s family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”

A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 10.52am on Monday 19 December to an incident in Bournemouth and sent a ground ambulance with a double crew and an operational officer.”
