A man was rushed to a hospital in Edmonton on Thursday night with a stab wound after police said he tried to intervene in a theft.
The attack took place at around 9:30 pm in the area of 126th Street and 152nd Avenue, and a 34-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The victim witnessed a theft nearby and tried to intervene and stop the two suspects, a man and a woman. It is reported that the suspect man stabbed the victim and fled the scene,” said a sergeant. Dan Tames wrote in a press release.
The victim is said to be in stable condition on Friday, and police released photos of the suspect.
