A man was stabbed in the head and hit with a lever by a gang in a parking lot in front of an apartment building.

Merseyside police rushed to Fox Street Studios around 8pm on Tuesday, May 24, following reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived at the scene, right on Great Homer Street, they found that a 21-year-old man had been stabbed in the head and also hit with a lever by a gang of men.

The 21-year-old was rushed to a hospital in the Northwest Ambulance with serious injuries. His wounds are not considered life-threatening.

The incident happened in the parking lot in front of the entrance of the apartments and the employees have already covered the area. Several police officers and detectives were on the scene Tuesday night.

A Merseyside police spokesman confirmed that forces were investigating the incident and said it was “at a very early stage”. No one has been detained in connection with the stabbing.
