A mass shooting in Pittsburgh caused 11 wounded and 2 killed

Two minors were killed and several others were injured in a mass shooting at a home party in Pittsburgh early on Easter morning, police said.

The shooting took place at an AirBnB property rented on Madison Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday. According to authorities, there are about 200 people in the house.

About 50 rounds of ammunition were fired at the home, forcing partygoers to jump out of windows and receive broken bones and tears.

Police said several more shots were fired outside the house.

A total of 11 victims, including the two who died, were taken to district hospitals.

The investigation continues in the North Side neighborhood, known to locals as Deutschtown.

Police say there are currently eight separate crime scenes gathering evidence.

Residents nearby said they saw hundreds of people on the streets with a massive police reaction after the Easter shooting.
