Graham Cromwell, a lobster catcher from Weymouth Falls, NS, who went missing in the Sisibu River on Wednesday, has been found dead about a mile from crossing the Gates Lane.
According to an RCMP press release, Cromwell’s body was found at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Police were informed Wednesday that the 48-year-old Cromwell had entered the river near the Gates Lane crossing but was not seen coming out.

Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans officials patrolled the area on Wednesday around 9pm when they saw four men fishing on the river, a DFO spokesman said.
Officers tried to check, but the men fled and jumped into the river, the spokesman said.
Fisheries officers found three of the men on Wednesday, but a fourth was not found immediately.
