A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on Saturday night in London, Ont. According to police in London, the vehicle fled the scene.
Police said ambulance crews responded to the incident near Adelaide Street North and Nelson Street shortly after 9:30 p.m.
The pedestrian was sent to hospital but did not survive.
Police closed the intersection for several hours, but the road has reopened since then. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
