A Virginia driver collided with four pedestrians while taking food in her car

A Virginia woman crashed into four pedestrians on Friday while trying to pick up food she dropped into her car.

The incident left one person with life-threatening injuries and sent four people to a local hospital, according to FOX 5 Washington, DC

Fairfax County police said the Nissan driver dropped his food and spilled a drink in the car, according to the report.

When she tried to take the food, she lost control of Nissan and hit four pedestrians standing in a parking lot in Anandale, Virginia. Later, the car hit a metal fence.

The driver and passenger were also taken to a local hospital, according to the report.

According to police, the crash happened in block 7200 on Maple Place.
