Ontario provincial police say a 23-year-old driver is lucky to have survived a serious crash Sunday morning in the city of Augusta.
The crash happened on County Road 26 near County Road 15 in the Stones Corners area. A photo of the scene shared by OPP shows what’s left of the Chevy Silverado involved.
The driver received non-life-threatening injuries that police attributed to the use of a seat belt; however, the person is still facing driving charges while removed.
An OPP spokesman said the driver was not disabled, but it was not yet known what caused the crash.
