The families paid tribute to the Truro couple, who died in a crash near Bude earlier this month. Devon and Cornwall police were called to the A39 crash around 11 a.m. Monday, April 18.
Paul Parker, 63, and Pamela Osborne, 69, were riding a motorcycle that collided with a van. The couple was seriously injured and unfortunately died on the spot.
Paying tribute to Pamela, her family said, “Our mother; so loving, caring and thoughtful. She thought of the world of her whole family; she was a great mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she always tried to make the most of her last years with her partner Paul by doing what they both loved — everything about bikes.

“She has always been a fighter and has fought cancer on various occasions and has always been able to get through it. It will really be missed by so many people. Our only consolation is that she died doing what she loved, who she loved. Rest in peace mom xxxxx. ”
Paul Parker’s family also paid tribute to him, saying: “Dad was a bigger character in life. He always stopped talking to everyone, and that usually ended in a lot of laughter. During his action-packed life, he competed in many forms of motorsport; on two and four wheels, rose into the air and traveled the world.

“He was a proud soldier in the RAF regiment and even more proud of his grandchildren. Most recently, for the past 16 years, he could be found to maintain the Cornish fire station’s fleet, travel between stations, maintain and repair machinery.
“The time spent behind the wheel of a bicycle was the place where he spent as much free time as possible, almost always with Pam on his back, sightseeing, trying out as many fish and chips shops as possible up and down the country. like their big trips around Europe during the summer months.
“You have left a big hole in our lives and we know that your friends, colleagues, past and present, and fellow motorcyclists will be sorely missed. We want to thank everyone for their kind words and support in this difficult time. Rest in peace, Dad and Pam. ”
Glynn Arthur Thomas, 58, of Camlamour Head, Camelford, has been charged with two counts of causing death by driving without proper care and attention while intoxicated.
