Police have launched an investigation into the attempted murder after a man was found with life-threatening injuries on a street in Paisley.
Officials were called to Fergusli Park Avenue at the intersection with Barochan Way after receiving reports of a 43-year-old man found with serious injuries.
Emergency services were visited and the man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The medical staff described his condition as critical.
An investigation into the incident has been launched and officials are urging anyone with any information to provide information.
CID Detective Sergeant Buxton of Paisley said: “We urge members of the public who witnessed the man’s attack to contact the officers.
“We also ask drivers with a DashCam recording to hand it over to the police.
Anyone with information must contact the police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800 555 111, citing police incident 3843 of 10 June 2022.
