Dillian White says he is “ready to do whatever it takes” to raise his hand against Tyson Fury after rivals finally faced each other before their fight for the world heavyweight title tonight.

White dropped several media reports, including a press conference announcing the fight and open training on Tuesday, ahead of a match expected to draw 94,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium.

But he showed up to face WBC champion Fury for the final pre-match press conference, a heart affair in which both fighters complimented each other. It wasn’t until they stared that irritation erupted between the camps, although Fury, the obligatory contender White, and promoter Frank Warren eased the tension.

“We worked hard at the gym, I believe in myself and I’m ready to do whatever it takes,” White said. “Victory in any way, I will do it. I’m not afraid to take risks, it’s nothing new.

“It means everything to fight in my homeland for the world title. This is huge. He and I didn’t expect to be here, especially me. I took risks again and again. and I’m rolling. “

Fury made the first defense of his title by stopping Diontay Wilder in the 11th round of a memorable battle in a trilogy last October, and the Briton insisted he had left no stone unturned in his preparations to face White.

“Dilian is a good fighter, he is big, strong, strong, he plays, he has a good striking power that knocks out many men,” said Fury.

“He has a lot of experience in the fighting game. He is definitely a person who needs a lot of respect and I gave him that.

“I did my best to train for that. I trained as hard for Dillian as I did for Wilder. He will fight the best Tyson Fury.”
