Apple has launched a program to fix a problem with a blank screen of the Apple Watch Series 6

Apple today launched a repair program for the Apple Watch Series 6 to address a problem that could cause a small percentage of devices to display a constantly blank screen.

This problem affects the 40mm Apple Watch Series 6 and the affected devices were manufactured between April 2021 and September 2021. Apple says Apple Watch Series 6 owners can use the website’s serial number check to determine if their devices meet the conditions for the repair program.

Devices affected by this problem will be repaired free of charge by Apple or an authorized Apple service provider.

The program covers eligible Apple Watch Series 6 models for two years after the first retail sale of the device.
