Eight cases of severe hepatitis of unknown origin have been found in children in the Argentine city of Santa Fe.

The first reported case in Argentina was that of an 8-year-old boy at a children’s hospital in Rosario.

Following the opening of the cases, the Argentine Ministry of Health recommended that young people complete the National Vaccination Calendar Schemes for each age group.
