A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 56-year-old man was found dead in the parking lot of a city hospital. The body was found in a car at Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield yesterday (April 22).
A 43-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested last night on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
An autopsy will soon be performed on the Kingstend victim. His family has been notified of his death.

West Midlands police released a statement on the incident this afternoon. A spokesman for the force said: “Our investigation into the death of a 56-year-old man from Kingstend, Birmingham, is ongoing.
“His body was found in a car at Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield on Friday. The sad news was told to his family.
“An autopsy will be performed as soon as possible. This will help us understand what caused the man’s inexplicable death.
“The car was taken down for a more detailed forensic examination. Reopen the parking area we closed.
