“Excuse me ?!” … Pep finds out from a reporter that Fernandinho is leaving
Manchester City survived a tough match with Atletico Madrid to reach the semifinals of the Champions League after a stubborn draw without goals in the Spanish capital.
Pep Guardiola’s team is battling a frightening atmosphere and the ardent host of Wanda Metropolitano to win the tense quarterfinals with the kind assistance of last week’s equally grueling 1-0 victory in the first leg.
Atletico finished with 10 men, and Felipe – who escaped from a yellow card for a terrible challenge against Phil Foden in the first half – was sent off as disappointments at home boiled over in the final stages.
City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan was close to scoring when he hit the crossbar in the first half, but the visitors had to dig deep late. Atletico picked up the pace in the final stages and there were some worrying moments, not least when Antoine Griezmann shot close and Angel Correa tested Ederson in added time.
They expect Man City Real Madrid, which knocked out Chelsea with a total score of 5-4 after a fantastic match at the Santiago Bernabeu last night.

Police have already descended into the tunnel. There was chaos in the end. I can’t lie, after 85 minutes of stormy football, these were scenes at the end.
It would have been fascinating if Atletico had scored just to see what would happen.
Remember: this made Atletico a great team. They will not just stop these antics, because some English football fans do not agree.

Quite a remarkable ending, as Atletico Madrid showed the worst of what they are for.
