A woman pushing her child in a buggy in Co Down Park was the victim of an “unprovoked attack”.
The mother was punched in the back of the head by an unknown man, who continued to hit her until she fell to the ground.
The attack took place in Ward Park in Bangor on Friday afternoon, April 22.

Police said she suffered head, back and shoulder injuries.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: “Police are investigating an unprovoked attack on a 36-year-old woman in Ward Park in Bangor around noon yesterday, Friday, April 22.
“The victim was walking with her friends and their children, pushing one of her children in a buggy when an unknown man approached and punched her in the back of the head. When she fell to the ground, the man continued to hit her and then fled.
“The victim suffered head, back and shoulder injuries.
“The suspect is described as being about six feet tall, wearing a face mask, a black baseball cap, gray underpants and a black T-shirt.
“Anyone who has been in the area and who can assist the police in identifying the perpetrator has been asked to contact the police on 101, citing reference number 669 22/04/22.”
