The jurors in the Black China-Kardashians trial reached a verdict on Monday afternoon, ruling against it after four days of deliberations. China, 33, is pictured leaving the Los Angeles Supreme Court on Friday
The Kardashians won their defamation lawsuit on Monday after a Los Angeles jury found no basis in a $ 108 million lawsuit filed by reality star Black China and awarded her nothing in damages.
The 33-year-old accused Kim Kardashian, her sisters Chloe and Kylie Jenner and their mother Chris Jenner of making statements that ruined or slandered her reputation and of plotting to destroy her TV show Rob and China. On Friday, Kim was removed from the defamation section of the case.
But on Monday, the jury returned a verdict that, while not completely acquitting the billionaire clan of any wrongdoing, did not award Chyna any damages.
Chaina sat in stunned silence as the clerk announced his decision.
The case went to the jury at 4.30pm last Thursday and it took the 12 men and women in the panel until 3.30pm on Monday to serve their sentences.
Under California law, civil lawsuits require at least nine jurors to vote in favor of the sentence.
Unlike the rest of the trial, there was no Kardashian fashion show at the Stanley Mosque Courthouse in downtown LA.
Kim, 41, Chloe, 37, Kylie, 24, and Chris, 66, were 3,000 miles away at the glamorous Metropolitan Gala in New York City.
Only their lawyer, Michael Rhodes, was in court to represent them.

The trial in Los Angeles lasted almost two weeks, before the lawyers of both sides finalized their concluding arguments and the case went to the jury at 16:30 on Thursday.
Under California law, civil lawsuits require at least nine jurors to vote in favor of the sentence. If nine or more cannot agree, the judge may declare a violation.
This would essentially mean that neither side has won – and a new trial could be convened with a new jury to reconsider the case.
After about 10 hours of deliberation, jurors found in the jury’s long form that Kardashian had often acted in bad faith on the issues raised in the case, but this had no significant effect on China’s contract or the show’s fate.
As a result, she was not awarded compensation.
On the 13-page special sentence form, the most significant of the 70 questions the jury had to answer was number 69: “What is the damage to Angela White?”
Angela White is the real name of Blac Chyna.
The jurors left the answer blank.
However, the jury found that the actions of the four defendants in Kardashian regarding Chyna’s contract “Rob and Chyna” with E! they were not “justified.”
And they found that only Kylie Jenner’s behavior prevented the performance (of Chyna) or made the performance more expensive or better.
The jury did not find the same for the other three family members.
Kylie was also named as the only one the jury thought was “intended to disrupt the performance” of Chyna’s contract with E!
The jury decided that Kylie’s statement – “She (China) will continue to use and physically abuse my brother” – is not true.
But they said no when asked, “Was Kylie Jenner’s behavior a significant factor in harming Angela White?”
They also found that Chris Jenner’s claim that “she (China) killed the devil in Rob’s face” was not true.
But her other claim – that “she killed him” – was true.

China and Rob Kardashian meet together in Las Vegas in May 2016
Rhodes, representing the Kardashian family, called on the jury in its summary Friday to “allow the family to begin treatment.”
He said China’s lawsuit was not substantial, seeking $ 108 million in economic loss compensation, saying it had not provided any hard financial evidence of loss of income or emotional stress.
Rhodes said China was violent and aggressive.
“Did Tea beat Rob?” Yes, she did, he said.
“It was true.” It happened.’
Rhodes mentioned the day of the “great battle” of China and her 35-year-old boyfriend in December 2016, when she packed up and left their home with their baby girl, Dream, born a month earlier.
Rob Kardashian said she hit him with a six-foot stick, pulled a telephone cord around his neck, and aimed a gun twice at his head.
During her testimony, the 33-year-old China denied that they had separated at the time.
Chyna maintains that their relationship ended in the summer of 2017, but defendants say Chyna admitted in a written statement that the two separated in December 2016.
Rhodes told jurors Thursday that he denied the relationship was over because he wanted to show that the television program was still viable.
“She had to confirm that the connection was still okay because she had to convince you that the network still wanted her show,” Rhodes said.
“This was not a relationship that any network leader wants on television.”
The premiere of “Rob and China” took place in September 2016 and lasted one season.
The series was resumed for a second season, but in light of the separation of Kardashian and China, plans for season 2 were postponed.
China claims that Kardashian spread false reports about her attack in order to cancel the Keeping Up With the Kardashians spin-off and ruin her reality TV career.
E! the leaders of the network testified during the trial that “Rob & Chyna” was supposed to be a carefree romantic comedy.
The court was also told that the show’s producer had told China that if he wanted a second season of the show, he would have to improve his relationship with Kardashian, and offered to help with the consultation.
Rhodes said Thursday that China’s reaction to the idea was, “Damn, no, damn it.
“Damn it, Rob.” I don’t do that.
Rhodes asked the jury, “Is this the relationship you want to build your romantic comedy around?
“Someone who would tell her baby’s father?” Would you air this?
Asking the jury to “go with me” to his clients – Rhodes represents Chris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Chloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, all of whom are accused – he pointed to the gathered Kardashians and said: “This is the child’s grandmother, she is an aunt.
Rhodes told the jury to remember the “pain and sorrow” on Rob Kardashian’s face during his testimony on Wednesday, noting: “It was real. This is a real family.
“Yes, they are famous, but they are real people.
“Just because Rob is a big man doesn’t mean he can’t be a victim.
“How would you feel if your child went through this?”
“Picture of Rob. What did he look like? Was that fake?

Rhodes also accused China of “hiding her money” and failing to file tax returns for three years.
Under oath, China admitted that she told her accountant to stop preparing her tax returns for 2019 and has not paid taxes since.
“You deceived the government – but we will give you millions of dollars – is that right?” He asked the jury.
“It’s a hiding place.”
She was accused during the fight of smashing a TV set, a bedroom door and a Christmas house with gingerbread.
“The Gingerbread House was stupid, upstairs and beautiful – like Kardashian,” Rhodes said.
When she broke it, she poured out her anger on everything that would not be.
E! ‘S Keeping up with the Kardashian ended its 20-season cycle in June 2021.
Earlier Thursday, a judge rejected China’s request to repeat her testimony against the Kardashian family after she was upset and left the rostrum when she was shown a nude photo during a cross-examination.
Chronology of the Rob and China weapons incident, separation and cancellation of the show
December 14, 2016 – China says she and her then-fiancé “brave, joked and were stupid” while celebrating the second season of Rob and China, who received the green light from NBC Universal.
She denies shouting “I’ll kill you” to Rob. She told the court she aimed her pistol and did not put her finger on the trigger.
Chyna says she put a phone chord on Rob’s neck “for fun” because “he was playing video games and I was just trying to get his attention.”
