Britain’s Got Talent saw Simon Cowell hit Golden Buzzer tonight (April 17) after being impressed by comedian Axel Blake.
The 33-year-old property manager and father of two made the judges go crazy with his funny jokes, with Simon even noting that he could be the first person to make a joke with COVID, which was actually fun.
Axel told judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Williams that he played as a comedian and worked around his daily work and that his children supported him.

His routine won him a standing ovation from the judges, who noted his sympathetic personality and trouble-free routine, and the audience shouted at the judges to hit the Golden Buzz.
“A comedy superstar is being born tonight,” David Williams told him. “So funny, you made everything look so seamless, you have a wonderful, such a nice person, and everything you said was brilliantly funny and original.”
Before Simon hit the buzzer that will send Axel straight to the final, he gave his opinion on his performance.

“Super, super, super confident. The first person, frankly, joked with COVID and was funny. I know it’s a bit of a cliché, but after what everyone’s been through for the last few years, we needed to show it back on the air, we needed acts like you. “
Simon then went on to inform Axel of his new kitchen requirements in the run-up to his daily work, much to the comedian’s confusion – for the record, Simon liked a granite countertop, a waste disposal device and a 25% discount – before hitting Golden Buzzer .
